PJ police intensify checks for SOP violators

Police will intensify spot checks and surveillance in public areas following the surge in Covid-19 cases. Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the move was to ensure full compliance of the standard operating procedures (SOP) during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). He said police teams would be sent to the ground to conduct random checks on restaurants, among others.

Selangor to update Covid-19 SOP after surge in cases, says MB

Selangor will update the implement of the standard operating procedure (SOP) to curb the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic following the hike in cases in the state. Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the state government would meet the state Covid-19 prevention task force in the near future to update the latest and long term plans, on the matter.

Police: Full SOP compliance by all persons under surveillance in PJ

All 224 Persons Under Surveillance (PUS) in the district here are fully complying with the standard operating procedure (SOP). Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the PUS consisted of Malaysians who were ordered to quarantine themselves at home after returning from overseas.
